PLEASE NOTE: If a Temporary Event Notice is required we shall need 28 days to submit the necessary paperwork. in the unlikely event that a notice is not granted we will require to charge £20 for the license fee. there is no charge when the license is granted.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
LD Party Bars will:-
Be the sole provider of all drinks at the licensed event unless previously agreed otherwise
Apply and pay for any Temporary Event Notice needed for the event. ( Opening times of bar cannot be guaranteed as the final decision rests with the relevant authorities but LD Party Bars will do their utmost to acquire the times requested)
Supply all equipment and staff required for the bar, including the collection of glasses
Reserves the right to serve drinks in plastic glasses should the water supply not have sufficient mains pressure to operate glass washing machine effectively, or the restrictions placed on the license for the premises deems this necessary.
Refundable Booking Deposit
A deposit is payable on booking to secure your date and our services, this is fully refundable as long as you meet the following criteria - you have a minimum of 75 guests in attendance or the bar takes a minimum of £750. This is what is required to pay for our fixed costs including, licence fee, staffing, stock and other disposable/perishable items purchased for an event. The deposit is refunded within 48 hours of an event happening in cash or by bank transfer. Deposits are not refunded on the night due to there potentially being alcohol consumed by the client and the risk of forgetfulness.
Cancellation
28 days notice is required for a cancellation or a fee may be applicable.
Pre-Ordered Drinks/Packages
Any wines, champagnes or drinks packages must be paid for 28 days prior to the event.
The Law
All of our bars work under The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, and all relevant restrictions will be upheld by our staff. The most common of these that we encounter are
No alcohol will be sold to anyone under the age of 18, or who appears to be so and cannot prove otherwise. If your event includes guests around the age of 18, please ask them to bring ID.
It is an offence to sell or supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. If we suspect that anyone is doing so, service from that person will be withdrawn. If we see anyone we know to be underage drinking alcohol that has been purchased from us, we will confiscate the drink or ask you to do so.
We will not serve anyone who is excessively drunk, or who is abusive or threatening to staff or other customers.
Parking
In any issue with regards to parking the decision of our driver is final. If for any reason he or she finds it unsafe to park or load and unload in a particular area, they will contact you, or your allocated liaison to discuss an alternative.

All drinks are paid for as sold on the night, with the exception of prepaid drinks packages or prepaid free bars. We do not offer credit, and will not run a tab.
